SongForge: Contact (Advanced Class)

Songforge: Contact is the newest six-week creative Songforge workshop focusing on choreography and movement. Contact is a physically driven musical experience where connection sparks everything. A hand meets a shoulder, a back finds support, a point of contact becomes momentum. Movement grows, relationships emerge, and choreography is born in real time. From that physical language, song begins to rise—built not around story first, but around bodies in motion. The ensemble learns to shape rhythm, phrase, and harmony through contact itself, creating work in which choreography and music are born of the same impulse.
